Annual carbon footprint
The annual carbon footprint reporting for 2022 is open. The deadline for reporting data has been extended to Friday 28 April 2023.
By reporting your energy data, you will be contributing to the Alliance annual report, where we collectively disclose member carbon emissions and reductions. This makes the Alliance, and its members, accountable and more importantly provides members with the evidence to continue building their business cases towards their environmental commitments. The Alliance brings together businesses and organisations in the borough who want to tackle climate change. In 2021 members who reported their emissions to us saw an average reduction of 24% over the previous year.
Benefits of annual reporting include:
- Reaffirming your organisation’s ongoing commitment to improving performance to stakeholders and clients
- Identifying areas where further energy efficiency improvements can be made in your organisation
- Tracking progress and accessing the CCA Carbon Certification Scheme
To apply you will need to have your annual electricity, gas, and potentially other fuel (such as petrol/diesel) consumption data available. Organisations submitting their annual energy consumption data have the option to access our free Carbon Certification Scheme.
