Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride – Saturday 20 May 2023
The Camden Clean Air Initiative are hosting their annual cycle ride on Saturday 20 May 2023 – and here is how you can get involved!
The annual Camden Clean Air Cycle Ride provides local residents, community groups and businesses the opportunity to embrace active travel and explore Camden via bike – celebrating cycling, cleaner air and the borough.
Events such as this help to awareness of how we can all play a role in improving air quality across Camden and support Camden Council’s ambitions as set out in the Clean Air Action Plan 2023-2026.
The starts in Granary Square and is supported by the King’s Cross Estate each year and the 2023 ride is sponsored by local Camden business Anglo American. There are two cycle routes this year, with a shorter and simpler route offered for children and those less confident on a bike. Both routes have coffee shops and pubs en route for riders to stop off for refreshment and snack breaks. Each rider will receive a fully recyclable medals for completing the ride. Find out more about the routes here.
If you don’t have a bike – don’t worry! This year HumanForest are sponsoring e-bikes on the day of the ride so that anyone and everyone can participate in the ride.
